The Love from Family is Life's greatest blessing

B I G H E M M A I S O N
A main-level common area and Western style dining.
2 upper-level bedrooms with Individual futon beds, 1 queen sized bed including the Japanese sala,
the middle room | common area.
Small trendy Japanese tub, blue tiled bathroom, and a separate conservatory.
The minimalist approach to this space was paired with sliding doors that makes you feel as though you are right in Japan's Edo Period.
There's a Shrine nearby where MATSURI event passes by every month of SEPTEMBER ("The Rice Festival")
The house is situated on a quiet residential street of Tsuruhara.
4 stations away from KIX (Kansai Int'l Airport) only 4 minute walk from the train station
that has a regular service from KIX to downtown Osaka.
Just few minute walk from different establishments like local shops and restaurants (Sushi conveyor bar, Ra-Men, 24Hr Sukiya, Italian and Chinese foods, Local Japanese stalls and coffee shops).
There's a big Daiso shopping center nearby for a 12min walk, second hand shops, Mandai Supermarket, Lawson and 7/11 convenient stores.
15 minute ride by BIKE from different establishments like Icora Mall and markets as well as being close to the local shops, ATM machines, Banks and post office and number of fine restaurants in the area.
ACCESS: For our special big number of guests, lucky friends or relatives who will stay in the house and wants to experience the true way of Japanese living, u can use the whole second floor out fully without sharing it with anyone else. Use everything in the property for yourself. But usually, bathroom and comfort room are shared with the owners.
INTERACTION: Eric and Matte loves joining breakfast, lunch or dinner (If both time permits) with guests where we can discuss and help you else needed during your trip in Japan.
Matte's Japanese knowledge is very limited but understands a little Spanish language and speaks English fluently plus her mother tongue Tagalog.
While Eric speaks French, English and Japanese Languages fluently.
This is Eric's space for his wood creations. All his inspirations in creating wood designs are in every corner of the house.
WHAT ABOUT OUR NEIGHBORHOOD: Neighborhood is quiet and homey.
It is a Traditional Japanese Inspired one with a quiet residential area where there's a great way to experience the actual Japanese town.
For travelers wanting to experience the true way of Japanese living, Bighem Maison is for you.
GETTING AROUND THE AREA: Because the house is very near the local train station of Tsuruhara, it is fast to visit the Tourist spots. We use NANKAI Line in our area. This is the most convenient railway for tourist destinations like Namba, Nara and Kyoto and Wakayama.
Going back the airport is more convenient too! Just 4 stations away and 4 minute walk from Bighem Maison to the train station.
If your are a tourist, we suggest to at least get the unlimited pass using NANKAI LINE for your everyday train use. This can be purchase at the airport. It can help you save your transportation especially if you have itineraries going to Kansai Region's famous tourist spots. Nonetheless, ICOCA card is an alternative way which is reloadable in all stations and is usable in some convenient stores.
